Felton youth summit dispels myths about substance abuse

“There’s too numerous students,” Jessica said. “What if we’re lost?”

But after attending the three-day Youth in Action Leadership Summit, which ended Fri at Roaring Camp, Jessica stated she’s a little stronger.

“On the first day, we learned that we have anchors, people that support you,” she stated such as her mother.

The summit, which was attended by about seventy local middle and high schoolers, was hosted by the Santa Cruz County Fri Night Live Partnership a state-funded teen drug and alcohol prevention program.
