Fran Russell, when not taking pictures at various events throughout the area, has proved to be a more than capable baker of cookies

At the tender age of three Fran Russell traversed from Whole new New York City to the West Coast, settling with her parents in San Jose. Growing up she watched the Italian women cook, serve and help raise children. Fran was taught early on that hospitality was a gift from God. She watched her mother cater for weddings, bake wedding cakes and make trays of Italian cookies.

At the age of twelve Fran already had gathered a lot of old recipes as in her heart she always wanted to honor her mom, Gen, and compile a very special cookie recipe book.
